If I could tell the world just one thing it would be, we're all okay. And not to worry cuz worry is wasteful and useless in times like these. I won't be made useless, I won't be idle with dispair. Gather myself around my fate, it lights the darkness most fear. My hands are small I know, but they're not yours, they are my own, but they're not yours - they are my own. And, I am never broken.

Freedom.

 :p

So your dumb ass believes that all of the freedoms you enjoy every day and take for granted could have been secured just as easily without any war or killing throughout history? If so you are a complete moron and a perfect example of why the liberals are loosing their grip.....you guys are completely out of touch with reality.

And you're out of touch with this thread.

Say it AGAIN!

War based on sound evidence and facts + good reason = not good but necessary

War based on false information, fear mongering and corruption = fvcked up

Well, let's see. The US gained its independence in a war. The U.S. ended Meditaranian piracy in a war. The U.S. stopped the southern states from seceding and ended slavery in a war. The U.S. helped stop the Nazis and end the Holocaust in a war. The U.S stopped the Japanese empire and helped create Japanese Democracy in a war. The U.S stopped North korea and China and helped build up South Korean Democracy in a war. The U.S overthrew a Panamanian Dictator/Drug lord and handed the panama canal to a democratic government in a war. The U.S. overthrew a Serbian Dictator and stopped mass murder in a war. The U.S. overthrew an Afgani dictatorship, closed off a terrorist training facility, and started a democracy in a war (we'll see how it goes). The U.S. overthrew an Iraqi dictator and helped start a iraqi democracy in a war (We'll see how it goes).

It seems that war has some uses. Great song though.

That should be:

Fighting for peace is like fvcking for virginity.

It's perfectly reasonable to fight for freedom.

This is true, but only in certain context. If you look at "Freedom" as we've had it in our "homeland" for the past couple years (like what the quote seems to mean), then "Freedom" = "Peace". You're right, I just think the quote I said was trying to say the same thing.

It's true in EVERY context.

If you're fighting you can't have peace. If you're fvcking you can't have virginity.

It's absurd to make those statements because they defeat the purpose of what you're trying to accomplish.

There's no absurdity in saying that you're fighting for freedom.

The question of whether or not we're currently fighting for freedom in Iraq is a whole other conversation that I don't want to get into.

Are you a damned moron? I just said that that quote was using the term "Freedom" like "Peace". English, do you speak it?

...whatever, I'm going to work.

You're using freedom and peace to mean the same thing and I'm the moron?

Maybe you should go to school instead of work today. :)
