I will glady serve my country if I am called on to fight.

The problem is that you have no actual evidence that what Bush is saying is not true.

Also, I completley resent the refereence the Bush supporters are stupid ignornant hicks. I had every right to request that oath be linked to. Anyone who has any skill at debating will always link to evidence to support their point. Its such a liberal trait to just mention some vague document and claim that it supports what you're saying.

Ok, Zebo. I went and found your argument for you. Sad when others have to find you're proof, anyway its pretty clear why you didn't post it.

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

doesnt really support your argument at all does it?

#1 - They dont care, they like paying for weaopns systems, screw the troops.
#2 - Prayers? Prayers to who? Jehovah? Allah? Dont you think they are praying on their side? What does God have to do with the battle anyway...Unless you think one side is blessed by God....If then what make them think its not thiers?

response to : war being cheap and troops not having armor.
response to : only hope is a prayer or some bs.

Well, how would you know unless you've read the Uniform Code of Military Justice?

sorry, but what was that in response to?

just pipe down. you're a bloody sheep following the piper's tune coming from the madman usa administration and its media cronies. 'they are spreading democracy' blah-blah-blah. The majority of them are poor, marginalized minorities who were in the army for the given promise of a decent paying job and/or money for an education. Yes they knew the possibility of having to fight was there. Too bad they ended up being pawns in a nutjob's illegal war and having to be oppressors and occupiers. They should really be called the corporate army, there to secure bush and his cronies viable cash options. It's so sad reading rot like you spew, basicly quoting to the word the bs that comes out of the white house. Get a clue, if you can't, go down to the library and borrow one.

its a sad day when everyone automatically assumes that the government is telling us crap and that they have ulterior motives for everything.

And by the way, I don't just mindless excpet info. I make informed decisions based on the facts. there are no facts to suggest that Bush is a nutjob waging an illegal war.

Then if you are sure your research habits are sound I would expect your sources are the problem.
Here's a hint: lose the US cable tv news propaganda.

you can't support the troops without supporting what america stands for. They were told they were there to spread democracy to people who have been oppressed. Its a sad day when that is not the case and have become the opressors.

Good post up until the last statement:
Its a sad day when that is not the case and have become the opressors.

Would you favor that we just pull out all troops and support personel by 1 Jan.
Remove your so-called oppression.

I'll support that. Bring them home right now. Today.

Keep paying Iraq the $5.8 billion per month so Iraqis can rebuild what we've blown up.

And then who can be blamed for the consequences?

We removed Saddam, so what if the country falls the same situation as the Balkans.

/sarcasm off

wow, what a load of liberal bullshit!

The American troops are in Iraq liberating the country from a cruel and oppressive regime, and yet the American Governemt is being painted as evil. Please try to remember that this is an all vollunteer army. These people choose to join, and thus they made a commitment to fight. They do not get to decided not to becasue they disagree with the politics behind the war.

That wasn't the stated reason for throwing away 100 billion (and climbing) and thousands of lives. You must have an inside connection with the wackos in the WH.

Obviously you don't make informed decisions. Considering all the facts about lies, misinformation and close ties of the current administration. You're a sheep, there has never been such animosity towards a usa administration other than the current one. It's cnn/foxnews automatons like you that scare the hell out of 90+% of the world who see what is really going on here.
