Places NOT to be sent in WWII.
1. Russian front
2. Russian front
3. Russian front
I spy Mosin Nagants. M38s, M44s, M91/30s, and a couple M91/30 PU snipers (AND a PE sniper). Lots of PPSCHs too.
Yep, dont ya wish you could get your hands on all the great guns pictured.......
M38...Check
M44...Check
M91/30...Check
M91/30 sniper...Still need
PPSCH...Only if I win the lotto
The PPSH-41 is the one I really want. Ohhh, I really really want. (Well, a legal version that is....)
I can barely stand to look at subguns.
This thread made me cry like a little girl.
AFAIK those belong to Western Firearms here in Texas (outside of Dallas). They aren't for sale, but they have some other Thompsons that are.

If you think modern war isn't brutal you need to go over to rotton.com . . .

You need to go to History 101

I think we need to get streight what we're talking about. If you want to scale up a modern war to the size of either of the great wars, I think the body counts would be just as high, and the weapons just as brutal. Fuel-air bombs and the like as just as nasty as the worst chemical weapons of WWI.

That's pretty lame getting that worked up over a gun.
1941, July 10, shooted down soviet bomber

I would not say worked up, more like depressed.
That little display of theirs is likely worth $300-500 thousand.

Those pictures were good but it doesn't show what wars are like, at all.
Surf the web and find pictures of Iriq. Torn, Burned, Dead bodies all over the place...that's what a war is like..

The conflict in Iraq has nothing on Dresden or Tokyo.

Agreed. Hell, I cant even legaly own a full auto weapon in the Great Regime of Kansas.
For what its worth, Vector has Uzi's for under 600. Semi auto but hey, better then nothing.

Same here in Illinois.
Our governer keeps trying to push more laws through, thankfully failing.
Any semi auto weapon that could ever hold 10+ rounds would have become illegal. Any weapon with a bore .50 or more would be illegal (they finally figured out this included all shotguns). They even tried to mandate fingerprinting for all firearms owners.
Only two more years of this freaking tool.

i don't think he was trying to say that one war was worse than the other just that those pics didn't even begin to show all the horrors that happen in war.
this thread is covering a very important subject matter so lets try and keep the personal insults to the other threads and try and show some respect for the people that lived this.

Tell that to the mother of a dead soldier from either. To the dead all war is equal.

The horrors of Nazi controlled Europe, the Russian front, and Asia under Japanese rule cannot compare to anything in the last 60 years in terms of scale and ruthlessness.
