War Commander!!! (Facebook)

Anyone playing this awesome game? It's very simplistic, and doesn't hold a candle to any strategy games on the PC, but for a facebook game it rocks! If you haven't tried it already, do so now. War Commander can be surprisingly complex and deep for a facebook game.

For those that already have tried it, how about an AT clan? ; )

Not to sound mean but why would we care about a FB only game here on AT?

It is a decent game as it was made by kixeye and they generally make good games.

I did quit it shortly after the new world map but only because I was at max in everything for a long time before that and even with the new map it got boring with nothing left to do.

Of the three main games like that they had, bym / battle pirates / war commander, I did play this the longest easily as being able to control your troops when attacking was a big bonus in this style of game play and battle pirates had that also but at the time I played it there was no base attacking so it was very boring.

caveat, I haven't played their games; but I checked their website and it seems like they have three games all with the same premise but with different units. this game has army units and that game has naval units. am I wrong?

You are right.

For the navel one I believe the ship battles can be live for both players and you can control them for each player.

For the army one you can control your units for attacking both the opponents troops and the bases but I preferred the army one or war commander and it has both ground and air units when attacking.

It's just the war commander one had a lot more troops and control I felt plus when I played both it had a lot more to do.

ahhh, ok. a control aspect that usually isn't part of any FB game. got it. seems like a good premise to cater to actual gamers instead of the soccer moms who just want to mindlessly click on crops and farm animals.

You could find a lot of videos on youtube or such but they don't make games like that plus it requires no friend spam.
