No actually I was against intervention ( as in before Russia got its dick skinners into it ) as you so eloquently posted above... Then that was back in 2012 and 2013. Things and situations have changed quite a bit since then. Also my opinion has changed along with it. My post still says what I mean regardless. Obama did nothing except draw an imaginary line in the sand. He could have and did not need congress for what like 60 days... And at the present time it is clear that we should have acted Before Russia got involved. Obviously they also conned Obama and his administration into thinking all the chemical weapons were disposed of.

I still wish there was some way to untangle the US from the shit hole that is the middle east. Unfortunately that is no longer an option.

Why are you such a bitter little person?
Sad, just sad.

So, uhh, whatever Obama did it was wrong because he was doing it & whatever Trump does is fine, obviously for the same reason.

It was big of you to come back to this thread.

The 60 day thing is unconstitutional (the US laws that enable it are not constitutional) and against international laws. That said, all presidents do it. Obama wanted to do the right thing; congress said no; and he listened. Obama should have had the guts like all other presidents to ignore the constitution, but he wanted to save America (which means sticking to the constitution). So we are left with a choice, (a) destroy the basis of America or (b) interfere with Syria. Red line or not, option (a) is best.

Too bad Congress decided to do nothing and put Obama in that situation. Obama shouldn't have made the red line, but poor rhetoric choices is nothing compared to what Congress did to destroy our options simply to watch Obama flail in the wind.

I will let you know once you apologize to the forum for the lies you posted in this thread.

Well I guess I will never know.

I already explained ivw's post. All of his quotes were from 2012 and 2013... things and thoughts change over time with the situation. Pretty simple, but as we all know no matter what I post or say you and those like minded will run around saying what a big liar I am bla, bla bla... I've said what I am going to about it already.

And to think it took pcgeek 3 days to come up with that story.....

OMG, pcgeek is republican Jesus!

It's ok I figured you wouldn't be able to be honest about it in the first place. Kind of a shame really hopefully you'll do better some day.

"Situation" of course means a Republican is in the WH instead of a filthy liberal.

I look forward to your explanation of why Russia being involved means we now have to be involved, or why Russia being involved now means we should have acted then to prevent it because Russia being involved means ... what exactly?

I also look forward to you explaining that even though your position has evolved due to these factors and NOT because it's Trump instead of a filthy liberal, why you still blame Obama and not the GOP Congress who refused to authorize.

You didn't really explain much at all though. Can you say what specific things changed that made you an extreme proponent of not intervening to someone in favor of it?

I'm surprised any republican has time to post on any forum or comment group.

They must all be so tired...

From all the mental gymnastics they do to maintain their political opinions and not feel foolish.

Normal person: Why do you have these opinions that have been repeatedly proven false?

Republican: Because Bill Clinton is a rapist. And at some point Hillary Clinton has told a lie. Also, everything I think is true. Nothing has been proven false the MSM is manipulating everyone but me.

Normal person: Why do you like when a republican does the same thing you did not want a democrat to do?

Republican: Because I have been conditioned to find out the talking points and positions that I am told to have. I just find out what I am supposed to say and I say it repeatedly. I never research further or even realize that I am stating an opposite opinion to one I have had before.
If I am called on it, I will say that time has passed and now I have changed my mind. I will not admit that I just hate people different from me and like people who are like me. When those like me do something, its good, whatever it is. When those I have been told are my enemy do anything it is bad. NO MATTER WHAT IT IS.

And then there's this new nugget. It from Salon so...

Liberals were right: Racism played a larger role in Trump’s win than income and authoritarianism

For Christs sake! You lying piece of shit!

We can all see what you posted but apparently you are either too god damn senile to remember what you wrote just three days ago or you are too stupid to understand your own post.

Your original post:

Obama did nothing. Time for a change.

I personally think the US should have acted then and maybe things would be better now.
I do not think that the numbers posted in the OP mean anything like what is implied.

I then quoted your posts from the time of the incident under Obama where you were quite adamant about Obama not getting us into Syria.

Then, after Congress (Republican controlled Congress), said no to Obama we see that your opinion changed.

Had you had the fucking balls to come right out and say your opinion changed and explained why like esky asked you, I wouldn't have even bothered to call you out.

Instead you double down with this little turd:

No actually I was against intervention ( as in before Russia got its dick skinners into it ) as you so eloquently posted above... Then that was back in 2012 and 2013. You are indeed a sad, sad, little man. I'm guessing your avatar depicts how you really feel inside. What a baby.
