Hi everyone,
I've got a router (smc barricade) with a DLink Router/WAP hooked up.. I'm having problems getting the DLink configured properly to work behind the smc barricade. Heres my current config..
************ WAN ************
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
SMC Barricade Router LAN Addy ........ 172.16.50.1/16
DHCP Pool ........ 172.16.50.10-15
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
DLink Router Lan Addy ........ 172.16.50.2/16
DHCP Disabled
WAN Info:
IP Address ........ 172.16.50.14/24
Default Gateway ........ 172.16.50.1
DNS ........ 172.16.50.1
WAN configuration is set on dynamic right now and it looks
like it's pulling a WAN IP from the SMC's DHCP pool
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I cannot ping the DLink device from a PC which is connected to the LAN through the Barricade. I had everything working fine when the SMC was setup with DHCP and so was the Dlink.. Although, just for fun i'd like to experiment a little and try to figure this out. Any help is appreciated.
