Wanting to start small scale online computer store, need advice.

Hey guys, i've decided that i wanted to start a small niche online store that sells overclocking materials + cpu's during my free time. Anyone have any knowledge of any good resources on how to get started, whether online, from a book, or from a course? I need to know things like how to find wholesale suppliers, state/federal laws, software that runs the site, etc. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
 
My advice? Think this through a LOT before you do anything.
The aftermarket PC part accessories market is already oversaturated, and in order to turn any kind of profit you need to have a high sales volume. Main reason for this being distributors won't give you a very large price break unless you buy in quantity. As a result your profit margin will be TINY. Just keep that in mind.

If you're set on giving this a try, you will need a reseller's license in your state.

That's the first thing i'm going to do, research how much it'll cost me to acquire the merchandise from wholesale distributors. However, i think the money is kinda secondary for me. I'm really just bored and need to fill the extra time. Also, i need some resources on how to get started, i don't even know any wholesale distributors 🙂

I have a few ideas (none of which i'm revealing 😛) that might give me an edge on marketing 🙂 And again, this is something small scale. I'm really not looking to make big bucks (at least not initially, unless the oppurtunity presents itself).
