wanting to buy a 24" montior, will my card do ok?

I have an 8800gts g92 512mb, stock speeds ( I dont oc the vid cards). Currently I game on a 22"widescreen, playing Team Fortress 2 and Age of Conan. I'm building a second computer, and am going to use this monitor for that, and figure I might as well get a 24".

Will the 8800gts be ok at the higher resolution with those games in mind? I dont watch tv, videos, or anything like that. I just want to keep solid FPS. Currently average about 35fps in AOC, not sure on TF2, havent run fraps in a long time.

If the card will start to hurt, I will just stick with another 22"

What kinda AA are you using on those games at that resolution on your 22" ?

To get an idea of what it will be like turn the AA up 1 or 2 notch's thats the best way i know how to tell.

If your getting 35 FPS in AOC tho i would upgrade, im pretty sure your FPS will be at least 10 or so lower then it is now

using 2xaa in AOC, TF2 is maxed out.
