There's something about seeing and touching a globe that makes referencing geography much more interesting. You can see the plates, the mountains, etc.

Does anybody know who makes really nice quality globes? Like the all metal ones that can swivel on both axis?

I had a beautiful globe once. It was made from the bones of my enemies and was wrapped in the skins of the innocent. What made it truly wonderful was that each continent was made from the skins of the people who lived there. It was...magnificent. I wish I hadn't lost it so many years ago.

i have a pretty nice globe. not textured or anything tho.

only problem is it's outdated. but hey, the USSR may rise again.
