Wanted: good FPS game with great cooperative team play

yeah, its not your computer at all, there just are not very many good coop games anymore ...

there is also a Hexen II, and I didn't really play it too much though so I can't comment on whether it has good coop but if you try out Hexen and like it, I'd give it a shot as well.
 
In a previous thread, someone suggested that BF1942 had some decent maps to pit you and a few buddies against hordes of bots.

I have seen some RTCW:ET servers in which run bots - they're not flexible at all, and to compensate can shoot you from damn near across the map.

Also, MoH:AA has some bot maps, which my brother and I play frequently.
 
Alien Swarm Mod for UT2k4 - it's absolutely INSANE!

doom3 - yes, you have to download the Last Man Standing mod. it's pretty good though.
 
NOLF 2 has a pretty good coop game that is fun to play. You have to perform certain tasks, like build the doomsday device. This involves searching for and retrieving components of the device, and enemy team can steal them from you.
