Want to send print jobs to a router with a print server that's hooked up to the router the PC is on

PC -> wireless router
router with print server -> wireless router

The WAN port of the router with the print server is connected to one of the ports of the wireless router. My computer is connected to the wireless router. How do I send jobs to the print server? It isn't working right now.

BTW, the router with the print server is the SMC 7004ABR and the wireless router is the Linksys WRT54G.

Would I still be able to use the ports on the router with the print server?

all but the wan port. If it went as planned, you turned the router into just another switch on your network, cascaded below your wireless router.
EDIT: did your print server work?

I don't have a crossover cable on hand, I'll have to pick up one up later today.

That means I have 6 ports to use in total, right? 3 empty + 1 on the wireless that goes to the router with the print server, and 3 empty + 1 on the router with the print server that goes to the wireless?

For some reason my router won't let me change its IP address. Gives me a setup error when I try to (with or without DHCP enabled). When DHCP is enabled it says the pool IPs have to be on the same subnet as the IP address, but when I correct it, I still get the setup error.

I should have mentioned that when the wireless router is plugged into the router with the print server, anybody on the wireless router could print fine. Swap the two, and it doesn't work anymore.

So your printrouter will not work if you set it's local address at .2?
Is there a gateway setting, one that you can change from .1?
The SMC may not allow a change from being .1 and the gateway. It may not print any other way.
The wireless could be set up as a client switch though. What you said in the second post points to that.
Try using the smc as your gateway to the internet, hooking it up to the modem. Do the steps I outlined on the wireless, making it a switch.

I could just plug the wireless into the router with the print server without doing anything else and making it work. But, the router with the print server is a piece of crap, which is why it's delegated to providing "additional" ports.

I'm pretty sure I can figure out a way to change its IP, but it might take a while.
