I do find it scary how much people spend time and money on the inners of a computer system (in terms of chassis , fans, lights etc), given that the most useful output comes via the monitor and speakers usually......

txxxx spending time on the innards is fun dude. Adding things such as mods, extra fans, lights just lets a person customize their own case. Besides cleaning out the inside of a case is a really good idea since it allows for much easier access for future upgrades and prevents any electrical mishaps... My cpu fan has a potentiometer on it to change the fan speed and at one point some other wire was tugging on it and this somehow caused the fan to stop. Sufficed to say my cpu got real hot, real quick. Gave me a damn good scare. Now I tape the pot to the side of the case so it's out of the way and won't be touched.

yeah same here ;) getting my new psu and memory card reader from newegg soon (lol took me over a year to rerplace my crap psu that causes instabilities...) and i'm defintely going to change a few things, like trying to stick the hdd in backwards
