Want to replace ssd in a Steam Deck, the last screw stripped and cannot open the back to get access

You're right about that. I am aware that rotary tools spin fast. The rotary tool is off topic to this steam deck problem. I have a battery powered screw driver already that I will use to open the back of the steam deck.

A lot of cheap junk is unreliable, and with something like a high torque spinning hunk of metal or rock I'd rather have reliability than price.
dude, Dremel is the wrong tool. a screw extractor bit with a cordless screwdrive is the most torque you should apply to it. Dremel is just going to wreck the steam deck.
He probably is going to need to dremel a new flat-head slot in the top, if he stripped the head. If that doesn't work, he can always gently drill out the metal of the screw itself.
