My younger sister

:)

This happened about 10 years ago. I still remember it very well. She also went on the next year to pitch her team to second place in the conference (she had a mean fastball).

Oh, and when you type in her name "Kimberly Phillips" in google, it is like the 11th thing to come up. Pretty good:)

That picture of her is hung in a lot of high school libraries in town, and it traveled around the nation with some other civil rights stories.

That's cool. When IO played little league (in Santa Cruz county) there were always a few girls playing.

When I played they didn't even allow Nancyboys to participate (they joined the Boyscouts instead)

Vivacious little girl? Volin lessons? Sings in the chior? Bosom!?!?!?!?!?! I can't take it!!!!!! San-Hoe to Eugene...., that's gotta suck. If you were to move the entire population of San Jose to Eugene the result would make vietnam seem like a tea party :p. Cool story.

The ACLU is corrupt as a large organization, but on a local level they still do some good things. Like in this instance I think.
