Ive got a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue GLS package, which comes equipped with 5 or 8 (cant remember) speakers, in dash cd and trunk mounted amplifier.
I'm thinking of putting a pair of trunk munted subs in, but not sure what all I need to do.
I dont know what wattage the amplifier puts out, so i'm not sure if it will be enough to power a couple of 10's. I can say that it gets almost unbearably loud at full blast, with little or no distortion. Very nice sound package.
Any advice?

I dont want to spend very much at all, so keep a tight budget in mind when you do give some advice.

If your amp is powering your regular speakers you need to get another amp period. Oldsmobile is not going to put an amp in your trunk with the thought "Let's put one in powerful enough to run the speakers and two 10s should consumers decide to add those".
