It also has to do with the TruePower 430 slowing down my case fans... my max case temp before was 22C, now it's 28C... so I think I'm going to plug the fans into a regular power connector and not use the fan only connector. It's noticeably quieter like this... but I don't care that much about the noise level. Hell, I've lived with it for over a year like it was before and never had a problem with it.
It's a nice feature... if my CPU fan, video card fan, and hard drives didn't make so much noise
I just wish it would crank them up sooner... like... at 22-25 degrees... I don't think they even spin up at 28 degrees... just the fans in the PSU do.
