Want to OC 1.4ghz chip on a Epox 8k7a board, need help!

Hello all,

I have never overclocked before. Can someone help me to overclock using this board. I am looking for information specific to my board if possible. Can someone either talk me step by step on this or can someone point me in the direction of informaiton, I would greatly appreciate it!

I am a newbie, be gentile.

i have the same board as you do, and i have a 1.2 athlon. to overclock, you can either change your fsb or your multiplier setting. Before you even think about overclocking, what kind of cooling do you have?
