Want to live in a truck camper/RV. Recommendations?

and any 1 ton pickup you want. something around 10 years old should be in your price range. you will have to spend money on tie downs. also, make sure the weight of the camper is ok for the gvw of the truck. I suggest a 1 ton truck but you could use a 3/4 also as long as the weight was good.

My parents had a 42ft RV: full bath/kitchen, AC/Satellite TV, washer/dryer, and 2 slide outs. They would take us on trips around the US in the summer when we were younger. As close to a house as that was you couldn't pay me to live in one. What your looking for is most of that in a space smaller than my bathroom.

What in god's name would drive you to want to do this?

we were nearly at the top of this road: 10%+ grades and switch backs on gravel. over 1000' elevation change in a few miles of road.

i figure between 8 and 10 k for a new, custom built unit with my specs from coyote RV. a used camper and truck could be had for 15 easily.

Herm, is that the Moki Dugway? Drove it back in 2004...was pretty awesome.

I recommend a 1970 to 1989 Avion trailer. You won't find better quality anywhere.

Yep. The viewpoint at the top down the dirt road is neat too.

that's actually kinda nice. dunno if i'd want to use the toilet, but it's loaded out.

Similar views exist on I70 in Utah on the west side of the Green River as you climb out of the valley.
