Presidentmatch.com asks you a series of questions, and then based upon what you have input, it will generate the candidate that it thinks most suits your needs. YMMV, and don't b*tch to me if if you think it is skewed. It ain't perfect, but its interesting and worth checking out. It took me all of 2 minutes to complete. If this is a repost, please just state it and i'll remove it.

anyways have fun,

and btw, my first choice came out to be... Kucinich

Yup - Bush still the "best" candidate according to the questions asked.:) Lieberman,Edwards are 2nd and 3rd. Kucinich dead last - go figure.

I wonder how often they update these things.

I was 100% for Kerry, but still 60% for Bush. I guess they don't know what the hell to make of moderate libertarians.

Hmm... that site is pretty much BS. It gave me a 100% match for a candidate (Dean) who I only agreed with on a couple of minor issues and seriously disagreed with on some major ones (according to the results in their own "Compare Candidates" section).

The results were great too ;) :
Dean 100% - lunatic
Clark 99% - I completely disagree with him on the issue of taxes and would never vote for him
Edwards 97%
Bush 97% - I like how it says he served in the military :p

Liberman 96%
Kerry 94%

Looks like I still don't know who to vote for... hmm... fascist or socialist... socialist or fascist... decisions, decisions...

I feel most strongly about school vouchers, and put that I strongly favor them, yet Bush was the only one that favored them, and he was LAST on my list? so, take this website with a grain of salt.

On the other hand, I disagree with many other things that Bush stands for.

I too got a 100% match for Bush

What I dont get is on the issues that I really care about...the other candidates got a high percentage, yet had opposite views.

So I agree...take with a grain of salt

Kerry 100%
Kucinich 92% (I don't like this one)
Edwards 88%
Dean 85%
Lieberman 76%
Bush 26%

Well, personally I'm not a fan of Kucinich, but the rest I'd say are about right.

I guess I'm just an evil Massachusett's liberal

I am not surprised:

1 Kucinich Score: 100%
2 Dean Score: 98%
3 Kerry Score: 96%
4 Sharpton Score: 90%
5 Clark Score: 87%
6 Edwards Score: 87%
7 Bush Score: 54%

Edit: Wow, to get Bush at 100% had to pick questions that are anti-environment. Also benefits for the Rich.
Benefits for Drug Companies and Insurance Companies. More Patriot Act, Dictatorship Laws, Legal Slavery with importing of the Southern Citizenry, and against anyone if you're not Catholic.

I'm not "anti-environment", "pro-dictatorship", "pro-legal slavery" or even Catholic, and I still managed to get 100% Bush.

There is one way to get Bush 100% without answering the above questions at all, if you select Republican only.

Try leaving the Democrat/Republican boxes blank and then see if you get Bush 100% without being Anti-Environment, Pro Rich etc.

If you read the thread, you'll see my results at the top. I left it open to candidates from all parties.

My point was that I don't your political characterization of my answers to the survey questions to be accurate.

I was able to get 100% Bush, without being "anti-environment", "pro-dictatorship", "pro-legal slavery" or Catholic.

Mine looks about right, although I'd never vote for Sharpton. He has too many crazy thoughts on things that weren't asked about. But I will admit I do tend to strongly agree with about half of everything that I've heard come out of his mouth. Now the other half...
