want to go to washington dc, should i fly into dulles or baltimore?

what to do???
i want to go this weekend, but dont know what to do the tickets are about 60 bux cheaper to baltimore, but i want to go to washington.....decisions decisions.....
 
Ask yourself if the commute from the Baltimore airport is worth $60 (this is particularly an issue if your return flight is early).
 
bwi. you can take the bus from the airport to a metro station for, like, $2. and it's less than an hour from dc
 
i know this in very detail cause ive done it before many times.

three airports in vicinity of DC. reagon national, dulles, and BWI. dulles isnt that close for me, so i usually use national airport because its two stops away on the metro for me.

BWI is great for cheaper flights. however its hour from airport to DC. if its a weekday yuou can take this shuttle that takes you to the marc train station. from there you can go to union station DC. this is okay, but its a pain in the ass if you haven done this before. (example..closed on saturdays and sundays) Also, if your departure flight is early morning you wouldnt want to do this.

the other option is airport shuttle from BWI to wherever you are going. there's a blue color bus called teh SuperShuttle. i dont know prices on that.

Id need more information to help you out further than this.
 
if its rockville, Id suggest dulles or BWI.

if your renting by car, then the conditions for choices are different. by car BWI is 44mins away from rockville. whereas dulles is 34mins. those numbers are taken from expedia.com. not including time spent in traffic.

you'd probly want to fly to BWI given this information
