This is NOT a first - the original Unreal Tournament demo in 1999 was "3dfx only", though it was possible to fool it into running and then be able to access the software renderer mode by placing a blank Notepad file called "3dfx.dll" (IIRC) in your Windows directory so that the game would think a Voodoo card was installed.Originally posted by: blurredvision
Wow, this is a first, and hopefully a last. They could atleast tell you before it installs that it will only run on an Intel. It would save a lot of people some time trying to play a supposedly crappy demo in the first place.
