Here are two review links to the case I'm planning on getting. The first has pictures that can be enlarged and the second is a video review.

I plan on running an Intel Q6600 on a Asus Blitz Formula Special Edition MB. As you undoubtedly know it comes ready to W/C. Probably a single 8800GTX will be the video card. A 150GB Raptor and a Hitachi 1TB will be the drives. A couple of DVD burners and some Whizbang fan controller.

I have never built a W/C rig.

I'm considering removing the HDD cage and the twin 120mm fan pillar behind it. Placing a Thermochill PA120.2 and shroud behind the front two case mounted 120mm fans. In addition mounting a Thermochill PA120.3 and shroud under the top panel. The HDD's will go in the secondary HDD cage this case has in the bottom rear and the PWS will go up top.

Boy am I over my head. No pun intended...

Among my Billion questions could someone tell me why the 120.3 seems to be scarce as hens teeth? What pump would be appropriate? Could either one of these radiators by themselves be capable of cooling this system well?

First off, hold on the PA120.2 Reason is because its not worth it from a financial standpoint. The PA series are great radiators, however, you wouldnt see that big of a difference on it compared to a MCR220 unless your near stressed on that radiator. The MCR220 is also 1/2 the price of the PA120.2

The PA120.3 is a different story. Its the king, also the best performing radiator on the market.

Now why is the PA120.3 rare as heck? Simple, its because thermochill decided to licence there stuff to DangerDen. Now its up to DD to decide how much radiators they will import and distribute.

There are 2 stores which usually have the PA120.3 in stock. Mountainmods.com is one, and Dangerden.com is the other source.

However they will be a bit pricey compared to stores like jab-tech.


As for pump, are you going to run these rads in a series? or split them on 2 different loops? As of this moment people are all agreeing that swiftech's MCP655 is the best pump out there. Reason is because the MCP355 aka Liang DDC-2 is discontinued. And now a weaker version has been filling in the shoes. The Liang DDC-3.2 is a great pump, but it wont push out as much as the older DDC-2. And to my knowledge, its almost impossible to buy a DDC-2. If someone is telling you its a DDC-2 at a store, there BSing you, or your going to be paying a aweful big premium on it.

If you intend to do all this one 1 loop. God bless you, and good luck on your tube routing. Dual radiator setups can become a serious PITA if you dont plan enough.
