Thanks, the case is tempting due to the price but if Rosewill PSUs are that bad then its not worth it.

The case he linked is Rosewill, the PSU is Corsair which is a good brand. That PSU in particular isn't great, (nor for a great price right now) but it's solid.

(todays shell shocker on new egg) is a raidmax aluminum iceberg (was 150, now 50) combo with a:
ASUS M4A785-M AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Combo'd out for 105... Worth doing for me???? Would be nice to have an AL case instead of steel one and I think I would actually be ahead a little compared to just buying a cheapy 30 dollar steel case and one of the mobo's mentioned earlier.

That raidmax case/asus mobo deal probably would have been a good, I didn't catch it while it was still active.

I would go ahead and buy your PSU:
Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D Green for $25 AR with promo code EMCZZZN37

I've seen similar units for as low $20 in the past year, but we may or may not see that again soon and $25 is a really good price. Even with your low budget, $5 difference isn't much.

I'd also recommend this case right now: Antec Two Hundred(v2) Black ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $30 after rebate. Not going to do much better than this.

Rebates stink, but if you can fill out the card and be patient, a total of $55 for that case and psu is a really good deal.

I would also strongly consider this A-DATA DDR3 1600 for $60 right now, no rebates. 5-egg average review out of 350+ customers, must have great compatibility.

So BF/ Cyber monday are pretty much here.

You can combo out the Gskill too...

They have over a dozen combo packages including this ram.

The one with the AMD quad core for $314 seems decent?

Or at the end of the list they combo the Diablotek 550w with the 4gb Gskill for 69.99

Any of those save enough to be worthwhile over piecing together separately?

They also combo with a 1GB Palit 460 for 175 AR

Cheapest I can get a 460 768mb off the Egg AR is 115, so for an extra 10 bucks im getting the 1GB version.

Any way I can make my own combo and get that PSU AND that 460? Or the combo + that 460 + the PSU?

I COULD buy two combo's...unless you guys think its not worth the extra 50 for 8gb with my budget situation?

I forgot to order my cpu/mobo combo and now its sold out... oops!

Looks like with the 640 they are now combo'ing the 640 AMD with thefollowing:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813135241 (for 135 AR!)

Is that board any good? Has decent reviews and the price is RIGHT!

There are also 4-5 other board they combo with, this being the lowest price, up to about 220. What features are really "must haves" on a mobo these days? Usb 3.0 capability? What else should I look at? Will only be running 4gigs but even with this board's 4 slots would leave 2 slots for future ram upgrades.
