well then, there ya go. xmeridian is worth $190 to me, and SB isn't worth using for free. please don't soil all of AT with this argument.

I mentioned using 5.1 analog in my first reply to this thread. There are a lot of people with receivers that do not have the input though, so they're forced to get some sort of DD/DTS encoding feature unless they're ok with fake surround.
