Don't worry, Saudi Arabia is having a fund raiser on public television for those martyrs who left their poor families behind (we call them suicide bombers), $10 million so far. Very touching 😉

Saudi telethon raises SR210m for Palestinians
JEDDAH, 12 April ? Viewers from inside Saudi Arabia and abroad strongly responded to last night?s national telethon for the Palestinian people giving millions of dollars in donations. The donations include gold, cars and even slingshots sent by Saudi children to help their Palestinian brethren fight Israeli occupation. By the... (full story).

A Thug (The U.S.) and His Dog (Israel)

JEDDAH ? There is a certain kind of thuggish, uneducated Westerner who defines his relationship with the world according to its treatment of his most loyal companion: a rottweiler.
Somewhat of a social outcast, the thuggish Westerner feels that he has been unjustly ostracized by his neighbors. And for what? For doing nothing more than expressing fondness for a loving pet!
The neighborhood often shrinks in fear at the sight of the growling, barely controllable beast, for they know that at any moment it might tear a child limb from limb as if it were no more than a rag doll.
The rottweiler was of course bred to herd and control, and its baser instincts remain strong enough to prevent its ever being completely domesticated.

Chirac warns Israeli envoy to control Jewish extremists

PARIS, 12 April ? French President Jacques Chirac has summoned Israeli Ambassador Eli Barnavi to the Elysee Palace, in an effort ? says a presidential adviser ? to persuade him to better control the activities on French soil of pro-Israeli activists.
Chirac later telephoned Leila Shahid, the Palestinian representative to France who was absent from Paris, to advise her of his conversation with Barnavi.
President Chirac, according to the aide, let it be known to Barnavi ?in no uncertain terms? that he was adamantly opposed to all attempts by Israel, to ?import onto French soil,? in Chirac?s words, Israel?s war with Palestine.
Although Barnavi has repeatedly distanced himself from the activities in France of pro-Israeli activists as well as Jewish extremists, Chirac, says the aide, ?is convinced that the Israeli ambassador has the means of better controlling the extremists,? some of whom are specially trained in combat camps located in Israel as well as in France.
The aide said that Chirac, who has attempted until now to ?stay above? the conflict, at least as it applies to France, was quite angered by the pro-Israel marches organized Sunday afternoon by a number of French Jewish organizations, notably the CRIF (Conseil Representatif des Institutions Juives de France), which did not hide its intention of turning the manifestation into a show of support for Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
This Is How The French Media Reported The Same Meeting
The continuation of the operations of the Israeli army in the West Bank and the intransigence expressed by Ariel Sharon caused yesterday a salvo of criticisms in Europe. Jacques Chirac, who had convened, in the Elysium, the ambassador of Israel in France, Eli Barnavi, evoked "the exceptional gravity of the situation in the Middle East", underlining "how much the formulated requirements, on several occasions and unanimously, by the Security Council of UNO were to be respected". The head of the State also telephoned Leïla Shahid, representing PLO in France currently in displacement in Gaza, so that it asks Yasser Arafat "to make the gestures necessary for the cease-fire" and "definitively to stop the terrorist attacks" against the Israeli population.

very true. no ones born with beliefs. but only a fool would expect rational action from people who's thoughts are based on ideas that are fundamentally corrupt.

From someone that spends part of their off time studying the enlightened teachings of Hezbollah we don't really worry about your opinions.

you show me a democratic country that brain washes it "citizens" (slaves) and i will show you a four dollar bill. all of this propoganda is supported by the heads of these countries, it is all from the top down. if there will truly be peace, there must be a more informed public in these monarchies (for lack of a better term). the website that i linked to is owned/controlled by the Saudi Royal Family (just like every other newspaper in that region). There are no freedoms. If you disagree with their point of view, you will be excuted and be labeled a traitor to Islam.

just my final .02 before bedite ( I hope)

Isn't a lot of American press biased towards Isreal?? In the past, haven't you noticed how slanted the press is towards non-jewish people in the Middle east?? Can anyone tell me why we should support Isreal??

I see polls done here in America saying how President Bush handling of the situation in the middle east. Excuse me but don't we have
our own problems here in the U.S.??

My first cousin was killed on 9-11 at the Pentagon and I always wondered if he would still be alive if the US didn't support Isreal..

My thoughts...

look at american news. it is very biased also. the only thing is that we try to hide our bias where as the arab organizations don't care.

And to think the US is only increasing their contributions to 300 mill from 80 mill to help them repair
