well, if we did move in, I would no longer work with them id be in a different department, would not see them at all.

we each have own bathroom.

the upside is rent would be cheaper. (About 700$ vs 1200$). I cant afford a single apartment for the time frame i need. but with 2 roomates i could.

and they are lots of fun, more like guys then chicks.
you seem intent on wanting to go down this path. look at the replies you've gotten so far. look at other roommate threads where it's just guys (or just girls); making a living situation work with roommates is difficult as it is. Now you want to make it more difficult by having mixed genders?

"and they are lots of fun, more like guys then chicks"
There's a huge difference between fun while hanging out vs. idiosyncracies of daily life / habits.

And regarding money -- it's almost like the living at home vs. moving out on your own dilemma. sure, it'll save money to be at home, but the extra cost is WORTH IT. same with this situation you present now. You may think you're getting a deal by saving a couple of bucks living with 2 other girls, but will the headaches and conflicts be worth it?

none of your male buddies need a roommate?

not intent just giving the upside.

I am taking all replies with a grain of salt. Some are sarcastic, some are serious. Then i need to take into consideration the type of people im asking ;-).

My mother thinks its a good idea. I havent asked my other family members for opinions yet. (Maybe my mom just wants me outta the house? hah)

How are the conflicts different with 2 girls vs 2 guys? Other than certain periods of the month, i have had terrible guy roomates as well.

You work with them?

Christ, you're really asking for trouble.

You want to live with people you work with? Are they in a different department? This will never work. I hope you do just for later posts.

Different train of thought when trying to work out conflicts. Logic vs. emotion. I'm talking about in general.

needed to edit because we will not be working together when we would move in. I am switching to a different department that is a few floors away (communications) vs marketing

alone...seriously.
Yeah, really.

I had more than my fill of living with roommates from a few semesters in college. First semester: dorms. Freshman dorms. Imagine a bunch of 150lb toddlers turned loose in a small toy store. Then get half of them drunk, and get a few stoned. Every goddamn night.
After that, I was able to move to the upperclassman campus apartments due to extra credits I had from a community college. 2BR apartment with 4 people in it. There were conflicts over the room temperature - I liked having it pretty warm in the winter. My roommate liked having the window open all the way. In winter, it gets pretty cold and windy here. There were issues with cleaning dishes - the sink was packed with everyone else's dishes to the point that I couldn't even just wash my own. And it was still noisy; "quiet hours" were effectively nonexistent. I lived there for three or four semesters, I don't remember exactly anymore.

I've been off-campus for over a year now, living alone.
I don't ever want a roommate again, unless it's Anne Hathaway or Natalie Portman looking to act as a sugar momma.

Dammit, I guess it's a babe thread now. Lock. 🙁

Girls are usually cleaner, and they smell better. Downside is they leave their hair EVERYWHERE. How long of a time period are we talking about?

Just look at the pros and cons of living with them:

Pros:
Roommates
Cheaper (shared rent, shared utilities, shared common furniture)

Cons:
Roommates
Girls can be crazy drama queens
Roommates can be really messy

If living on your own is only a little more expense, I'd probably go for that.

living with women is just a bad idea and two of them is even worse. In fact the only way you could make it worse is if you actually had sex with either of them.

Hah, was just about to post this 🙂

Seriously though, the girls will likely be dirty and their cycles will sync up so you will feel both of their wraths at the same time every month. It sounds awesome from a sex point of view, but if something does happen it's going to be mighty awkward for the rest of your lease.

hehe, me too...exact words, only one :music: though

Lived with a girl for 2 years. No problem at all. She was either at her bf's place or he was over rarely. They didn't make much of a mess, and were always confined in the room (mad sex or DOTA/other computer games). When that ended she was always gaming either Dota, TF2 or WoW. Then again I don't think it really mattered whether it was a girl or guy I lived with since I rarely saw her except in class. She never bothered me (except sometimes to look at my hw), and for the most part her bf took her to get groceries, although I'm surprised she managed quite well after being single (I had the car). Shrug.

BS. I see you've never lived with girls.

It. Will. Happen.

this. live alone si the best option. Even when the crazy sex happens (it will), it probably won't be worth the extra strife that comes from living with 2 FBs. (especially if only one is the FB; that means a wave of jealous rage from the other)

Yeah, I used to think that too, until I lived with a female friend a couple years ago.
