Want opinions/advice on new build

i'm looking for more firsthand knowledge and critique on my choices, if they'll live up to my expectations, which choices i should make (like between cpu and psus) and RAM and GPU which i'm not knowledgeable about period. i'm basically looking for an intel core 2 duo server-esque setup on the cheap with just enough upgrade ability so that i can go quad or whatever else in the future. the pc will be used for just video editing, dvd editing, and sharing files online

CPU: i figured e4300 because it's the cheapest c2d, the higher multiplier would require less fsb, and it should be a good OC'er. is there ANY real reason to look at an e4400, or higher? the new exx20 don't interest me because i heard they don't OC as well with the larger cache

MOBO: ABIT AB9 Pro - i'm pretty set on this, especially with the dfi infinity p965-s being out of stock everywhere

RAM: i have no idea what's good, what's good for OC'ing, and more importantly what'll go good with my mobo. all i know is that the lower fsb required from a e4300 should mean i don't need as good ram as i would need otherwise. i like the price and mhz of these OCZ but they probably wouldn't fit well with my setup so far

PSU: i'm torn between the CORSAIR CMPSU-620HX and SeaSonic M12 SS-600HM. on the one hand i've heard great things about the corsair and would like give it a chance on the other hand the seasonic has 4 12v rails compared to corsairs 3, but it has slightly less power. i need to power hopefully a good overclock (3.0ghz+), 8-12 hard drives and i'd like ito be to able to handle quad core for the future

GPU: i hate deciding on graphics cards. i don't need anything currently top of the line and i won't be touching new FPS games so i don't need a $500 card. what i'd really like is something just powerful enough to play some older games from say 2003 for example and less GPU intensive games like the civilization series. i have no idea about what graphics card would be a good deal right now and need recommendations.

CASE: i like the COOLER MASTER CM Stacker STC-T01-UWK. i know it's an older case and i don't like the fact that i'll have to buy the add-ons to hold the hds in the 5.25" bays but i do like the fact that there's a fan in front of each add-on and like the case itself

and that's basically it. onboard sound is good enough for me for now, hard drives i don't need help with just yet (i'll save that for another topic) and dvd burner i'll throughly search around for myself. i REALLY appreciate any help anyone can provide and i'd really like some opinions.

For the psu why would you want an extra rail? Worry about the total power on the combined 12v rails not the number (and in fact the less rails with more power the less balancing you have to do), also since you arent worreid about high end graphics both of those psu's are overkill. In terms of graphics cards look at either an 8600gts or an x1950 (the x1950 will be a little faster the 8600 has more room for future improvement plus better htpc stuff, directx 10...)

is 600w really overkill even with future plans for 12 hard drives and OC'ing a quad core cpu? i just don't wanna buy a new psu later on

THe PSU is fine if you are running that many drives and you GPU. I would get the Seasonic.
