Want 'nutrition' labels on alcohol?

And you thought servings size & servings per container are funny on potato chips! 😛

Yeah might not make a ton of sense, but hey why not?

There's no point to put the nutrition information on alcohol since it really doesn't have any nutritional value at all. It is just empty calories. And very concentrated calories at that. Beer has some negligible amount of protien and a a lot of carbs. No alcohol contains any fat that I know of. The only thing it makes sense to put on there is calories.

however, for those that have to count carbohydrates accurately (diabetics), nutritional info would be a very helpful thing.

thing is, by law, they can't put it on there even if they wanted to.

Probably no point to some, but it seems a lot of people would like to know the carbs and calories. Plus things like liquers have sugar.
