Want A LogiTech Optical Mouse. Best Model, Best Place To Buy It From?

I think I would prefer one with a cord, unless there is a truly amazing cordless model. Two buttons with a mouse wheel is my preferred configuration. Suggestions?

if you have a local big lots or pic n save, they have the logitech ifeel mouseman for 23 bucks, just picked up one yesterday. There is a thread about it in the hot deals forum. One thing I have learned, if you want to buy something, and you cant find it in the hot deals forum, dont buy it! :D

I have the Logitech MouseMan Wheel Optical, it's all a dark blue color and has a nice ergo design to it, got it for like $20 refurb, now you can get it for about that new at some places. It's a GREAT mouse IMO.

BTW, does anyone know if logitech will be making a cordless model of an optical mouse with this same ergo design? I would be VERY interested in that. I had the ball version of the cordless in this design, but I sold it. I really wish they made a cordless one that's optical that has this same shape

The shape of the cordless one is different than the Blue one you use.
It's more comfortable IMHO, what sucks is the lag of cordless mouse.

I return mine after 5 minutes of using it :)

I use the logitech optical wheel mouse here at work and I hate it compared to my MS Intellimouse Explorer. I think I am going to make my job get me an Explorer :)

I as well have the Logitech mouseman optical.. but mine is iFeel.. not that I care, but it's all they had at the time... lol..

It's the best mouse I have used yet. typical Logitech quality and reliability and it's a sweeeeet mouse for gaming, I like it better than my Razer Boomslang 2000.

When I go to big LANs all I see all over the place is blue Logitech LED's on be back of blue Logitech mice.. people know quality. :)

This is the best mouse IMHO.
Mine is not cordless, I wouldn't buy cordless as i have horror stories.

Get the red one for 30 at any major store, BB, compusa, OD... It is better than the blue one, it does not loose tracking under fast movements. You can find it online for around 23-25 but with shipping it still works out to 30.

So the red one IS actually better than the blue? I was under the impression that they were the same thing.

I have to order online. I live in Alaska, no CompUSA, Best Buy, etc. near me. Closest possible location is four hundred miles away.

I have both the red and blue and the blue skips when I move it as fast as I can, while the red does not. I am a twitch player so this is important to me. If you play slower, I really don't see how, then go for the blue you should be able to find it cheaper. I also tried some MS series one and two optical mice and they skipped too.

The casing on the mouse. The older ones had a metallic/glittery blue color w/ silver buttons. The newer ones are red instead of blue.

O.K., so get the red cased mouse. Thanks for the tip. Glad I had not ordered yet. I was about to, but thought I would check the Thread one more time. :D

I can only find a blue cased optical mouse. It says it has second generation optical technology in it though. Is that one of them?

<<Suggestions?>>

I would buy one from a store, and make sure that it doesn't have a ball on the bottom.

Oh, almost forgot, make sure it's made by Logitech

Jeez, c'mon moron, just go buy a mouse....does your mom brush your teeth for you as well?

That's not really a good attitude to have. He's just asking for purchase advice. You have a better thing to talk about that computers on a computer message board?
