Wanna use my camcorder as a webcam...

I have a Panasonic PVDV400 camcorder with a firewire connection to my computer. Are there webcam programs that allow me to capture video/snapshots using my camcorder? Thanks.

Explain the use a little more. Do you want to use it as a webcam for videoconferencing or for sending video-emails to grandmother?

If the latter, you can capture in DV and convert to MPEG-1 at a low resolution and bitrate and email to whomever. Don't know if you can use it for live web conferencing though; I haven't heard of an application that can do all that on the fly from DV.
