Wanna fly over all the people stuck in traffic over the highway to work?

Id love to..with the horrendous traffic jam on 101 in the bay area, I always hate leaving between 4 and 7pm from work. Heres a car that can fly and it going on sale on ebay jan 31st. I knew about this company a few years ago. They were building a car that would fly 350+ mph at upto 28mpg. Range 900+ miles.
only a million bux.
Can someone buy me one?

He's been working on this for at least 20 years, I think Popular Mechanics may have done a story earlier than that. Glad to see he's finally getting it 'off the ground' (pun intended). Now, to see if it sells...

Unfortunately I think if I tried to drive one to the base for my regular commute, I would probably get shot down, or at least greeted by some very irate cops with M-16s when I landed.

Potential buyers are cautioned that this is a prototype model and considered an experimental aircraft. It has not obtained FAA certification and is subject to significant flight restrictions until approved. Further, the Skycar has not yet been approved as a road vehicle.

You can't fly it, and you can't drive it. So you're potentially bidding on a $200 million lawn ornament...
