Walmart Wii bundle return

After my GF promised her daughter we would get her a Wii, the prices shoot up crazy.
The only place i could in find it in stock was Walmart and they only had the big bundle.

I was wondering can I return just the games from the bundle. I would even take store credit since it not that far and we could alwas get something from there.

I know this is not the intent when they sell the bundle but really I'm stuck and I can't see paying 680+ for a childs gift. Even the 400+ is more then a child really should be getting but the damage is already done for that. You know childhood promises and single mom guilt.

As long as you tell the CSR the truth when you return them and they don't have a problem with it... I don't see a problem with it.

Somehow I don't think this is how it's going to go down though.

That's what I did last year. I had no hassles whatsoever. I just brought the games to the counter, said I want to return these, and got a GC in the full amount of the games.
