Walmart has the Laziest Shoppers

inspired by iwearnosox's holiday rant...

WTF is up with all of the shopping carts on the Walmart parking lot??? there are maybe 5 or 6 in the designated basket return areas and the rest are in the parking spaces...(seems to be always one or two next to my car)...

I have noticed this at 7 Dallas Walmarts...this problem is not nearly as bad at Target or grocery stores (Tom Thumb, Kroger, Albertsons, etc)...

there are always a bunch of carts two spaces away from the return area...guess it's too difficult to actually return the cart where it is supposed to go, especially if it is ten feet from where you parked...

end of rant....

wonder how many "Go shop at Target then!" posts will appear...

well one reason it is not as bad at Target or the local grocer is they do NOT get as many people as wal-mart does.

What a menial thing to rant about.
You could have at least tossed in: "and then they don't return them, and leave them in the spaces, it's a pain in the ass to park."

Why make life easy for the cartboy? WORK FOR YOUR MONEY!!! 😉

its more of a pain in the ass when cars cut across the parking lot @ 30mph and giving me dirty looks when i drive down the nice little lanes they have laid out.

Because you really don't have time to manuever your 400 lb mass over to the cart repository before packing your 10 kids into the car so you can get to the welfare office on time.

I think this post comes closest to the truth. All the lowest forms of life shop at WalMart.

😀

In the store it self I find the most fnuts. Like the cart sideways and a total fool drooling over a bag of socks.Better yet at the check out trying to pay with some sort of weird none money thing.

I used to put carts away. Then I happened to have the cart as the cart boy was coming out to collect. He asked if he could take it, and I nodded and turned it towards him and gave it a little push so he wouldn't have to walk as far. He was 3 feet away and chastised me for "throwing it at him"

So now I walk them all the way to the farthest point in the back of the lot possible and toss it on it's side into the garden there. PWNED.

Then they can keep my 25 cents - I'm still putting my friggin carts in the garden at the back corner of the lot.

They make a an hourly wage, Id think they would be happy to spend all the time to go out there just for 1 cart.

btw op, worst rant eVar. Its like pointing out you notice a lot of overweight people at McDs...

Sorry Dude that was me.

but because the shoppers place the carts in spaces rather than where they actually go, it causes really good parking spaces to be open. If there is a close space to the place where i am shopping i would rather hit the cart then park in the way back ( I drive a 92 tempo like i care)

The Super Targets here are just as crowded during the weekends, but they don't have near the number of carts out in the parking lot...

maybe I should change the title to Dallas Wal-marts have the Laziest Shoppers...
