Walmart contemplating buying Humana

Both companies are in the early stages of talks over this possibility which Walmart says is to fend off Amazon. WM has been in the process of vertical and horizontal integration for several years now and this would enable them to control pricing of health care to their own employees. What do you guys think about this possibility?

IF this happens...it means I will most likely be changing Medicare Supplement Insurance companies at the end of the year.

Working for Walmart is like any corporate job, youre stuck in an abusive relationship. Better get back to work before you get another black eye

I'm not sure how Walmart buying Humana will work out for their employees directly. I've tried to discuss benefits with employees at stores while I'm there as a vendor, but get mixed information.

It'd be HILARIOUS if a company selling guns also sells health insurance, dontcha think? Would make for a few funny interoffice memos to say the least.
