Walmart.com has PS2 Bundle In stock (7:18 EST)-(11:32 EST STILL ALIVE)

This is going to be locked, like the other BUNDLE sale. I don't see why, but since the BUNDLE is above list price of the SYSTEM ONLY, it gets locked. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Anyways if we see many more of these theres no more PS2 threads at all, I'm guessing. Not that I care.

Actually, it's not that bad of a price if you want those games. The PS2 doesn't come with any games and the games sell for around $49.00 each. The unit sells for $299.00 retail.
$299.00 + $147.00 = $446.00. So when you figure buying everything seperately, and the fact that you can get the thing, it's not really that bad of a price. For those who said, I'll stick to my PC, how much do you pay for your PC games? Does your PC play DVD's?
Can you add a second game controller? It's really not a bad price for what you're getting.

Sheesh, I love how my post gets locked literally seconds after I post it - yet this one remains open. I also agree, this is a very good deal especially if you want those games! The KBKids deal is like $490 with only 1 game, and SSX and Teken Tag are must owns for the PS2, so throw in a little Madden and it is definitely worth the $440. Plus you got the ebates kickback which brings the price down a bit more..

Let's see... With the Dreamcast out of the game, I think the only way Sony is going to lower the price is when the Xbox is about to be released.

I say "about" is because once Sony knows for sure that it's going to ship, they're just going to drop the price. If the Xbox doesn't ship until after the holidays, then the only price reduction that I see is $249 around September.

<< how much do you pay for your PC games? >>

I usually get new games for ~$30 on sale. Also there are a lot of great older games for ~$10.

<< Does your PC play DVD's? >>

Yes, it does.

<< Can you add a second game controller? >>

Yes, thanks to Gravis' passthrough connectors and/or USB devices.

But I say to each his own. Consoles have some great games that will never see the light of day, much like many PC Gamers 🙂
