Bad title, This happened to more than walmart. This happened to walmarts credit card service. If you used your card on the 1st, check your statement. If you were accidently overcharged, it should be reversed by now.

Umm... you should change your topic a bit, 'cause it's a lie. I hate walmart, but you could at least point out that it was their credit card processor that made the mistake, that the processor found the problem on their own and issued an immediate credit to everyone involved, and that both the processor and the store are taking proactive steps to notify all walmart customers to check their statement to make sure that the refund was issued.

Bwahaha, for real. I think the only two words in dmcowen's vocabulary are: neocon and Wal-Mart.

Unreal how you use my post to bash dmcowen. You want to talk to him, PM him, don't slam him in my post. The title wasn't mine, it was CNN's. And it IS the responsibility of Walmart to take the blame and correct the problem.

Why is it walmarts problem, when they did not cause the problem. Walmart should ensure that the problem is corrected for its customers, but not for customers of other stores that were affected.

linkage

First Data processes payments for retailers, moving money from consumers' accounts to merchants' bank accounts. Ms. Busby said the problem showed up on reports that the company generates for quality control purposes. She said it was unclear how many customers were affected, although several other retailers besides Wal-Mart were involved.
