Hello folks....

This is now become an annoyance than anything else. I found a pic on some website that I selected as my background pic on XP Pro. I've done this numerous times, and up till now never have a problem.

As (probably) all of you are well aware, you can right-click almost any pic on any webpage and choose to set it as the background image.

Fine.

I am very proactive with my computer and take meticulous care of it, and maintain it well also. I wanted to search for this image and rename it, BUT.....I can't find it anywhere.

Selecting an image in this way gives it the generic name "Internet Explorer Wallpaper". I have searched for combinations of this name, I've searched for image file formats and nothing comes up.

How do I find out where this image is stored?

I've looked in:

Windows
i386
ssytem
system32
web
wallpaper

Nothing shows.

Anyone have any idea wher I can find this thing. It's starting to get under my skin now.

Thank you!

🙂
