Bifold with coin pocket. The coin pocket rocks, I'm never going to buy a wallet without a coin pocket again.

Holy shit guy... $88?

I can afford it and it wasn't something that was going to hurt my savings, so why not?

This wallet was worth it. the leather is super soft. Second only to an old Longchamp regular bifold I got from my grandpa. I plan on buying a new longchamp wallet with coin pocket if the leather is as soft as the wallet I got from my grandpa.

I like nice wallets. I'm not a watch guy (the most expensive one I own is a $100 Citizen I bought 10 years ago) so I figures it evens out.

I own the $540 Epi leather LV wallet with coin pocket, I don't really like the square shape. Its a nice wallet but not worht the money. I got it at a discount since my co-worker's fiance works at LV.

I ordered this Gucci Wallet via my friend's wife who works for Gucci.

huh. that might make a good father's day gift for me

my dad insists on only using wallets with coin pockets (I'm going to chalk it up to being Canadian?). they're such a pita to find.

the reason coin pockets rule is that I keep 2 rubbers in there and the "condom ring" doesn't show through.

EDIT: This particular model has one bug, and it's a tendency for the thin leather strip around the plastic window to detach. I simply super glued it back on. Everything else looks like it's got 5+ years left.

Yup. I have that same one. I tried using double stick clear tape, but it didnt work out very well. I'll try super glue. (No one around has a sewing needle that does well with leather).
Super glue makes it better than new. Just make sure to use it sparingly, otherwise the stuff can squeeze out and it won't look too good.

Keeping condoms in your wallet is a bad practice.

Yeah but if you keep them in the basket on your handlebars the UV degrades them.

same here.
Another here.

My wife has bought Coach for years. Given her propensity for being, *cough* thrifty, I could never understand why she readily dished out the money for that one particular brand. After owning a wallet and a couple of belts, now I know. The quality of their materials, particularly their leathers, is excellent. Awesome wallet.

Those wallets are like $70+ though...
Paid $18 at the Coach outlet store on Duval St. in Key West.

I think I paid around $40 for mine at Coach outlet store also. I would have gladly paid over $90 though (I think that regular price was that much).

how do you put your money in the dopp 88? is it more like a money clip?
Fold the bills in half, then slide it into the larger of the two inside pockets that are not visible from the front or back. If you have the time, and it really only takes a few seconds, fold each bill individually. It's easier to remove them that way.

Been using this wallet for about a year and a half due to ATOT recommendations. Best wallet I've ever owned. No reason to use anything else, I might as well buy 5 more.

I didn't like the Dopp88 b/c the window is too big and loose for the ID. My CA ID sloshes about in that pocket that I fear it could easily fall out at the right angle. I also didn't like all the reviews of the glued plastic window eventually falling out.

That's why I went with something more sturdier like the Johnston Murphy Weekender ID Case. The window is stitched in and the leather is of higher quality.

I used to have a simple black leather bi-fold but it was still too fat sometimes. Just switched over to a Fossil with a magnetic money clip and its awesome.

Super small and it doesnt let me accumulate lots of crap, which is a good thing.

Have had many metal money clips and they never let me hold enough cards. Some of them dont do a great job at holding money, either.

Dopp 88 here, bought on ATOT's recommendation. Its great!

x2

The Official Wallet of ATOT

I don't like the idea of having to fold my bills before I put them in the wallet... 🙁

Big deal, I rather do that then have a wallet do it for me and turn into a butt brick.

Not all wallets that fold have to be big...

Indeed, but once you have some cash, Credit cards, Bizz cards it wont be small any more.

i dont carry cash in my wallet, and my business cards are in their own holder in my laptop case. my wallet isnt small, but its not a brick. it has 4 or 5 cards i feel the need to carry, some receipts, a copy of my purchase receipts for my firearms, license and a cien peso bill. pics of my kids. thats about it. change is kept in my back pocket, put into a bottle everyday usually. its pretty damn full, and hopefully the kids stopped stealing quarters from it and its a good amount when i cash it in.

so because of ATOT i bought a dopp 88 front getaway.

went to amazon and bought from BEALLS FLORIDA,

shittiest seller ever. I am in florida, so are they, so I expected it to be shipped the day after I bought it, which was tuesday. on friday afternoon, they didnt even process my order. at that time i canceled my order. now I am waiting to get the refund back and I'll get it from the seller, ebags. My bro has had the wallet (atot recommended him to get it too), and got it from ebags.

Guys and their wallets are like women and their shoes. I have a wallet don't ask what type I couldn't tell you it holds my cards and my money, nuff said.

I only reserve this kind of drooling to my gadget porn!

Well see women buy a purse cus it looks good, I bought a Dopp 88 cus it's thinner and more functional that other wallets and it's not even that expensive. ATOT turned me onto it. Best wallet ever.

I just got my dopp 88 today, it has a metal money clip that looks like it's embedded into it... is this removable? I'm scared to rip the wallet.
