Walking out on a movie...

To me I never understood the concept of walking out on a movie. Even if the movie sucks, I paid $9 to see it, I'm gonna stay until the end.

Have you walked out during a movie, and if so, what movie?

Well said. I have never walked out, nor plan too.

Although, I did almost leave during narnia..., but i was incharge of rides

I saw "Scenes from a Mall" with Woody Allen many years ago with my wife and we both sat through about 40 minutes of that movie before we just got up and walked out. I think that was the only movie I've ever walked out of.

personally, no. But, waaaay back in the day I was seeing Ace Ventura: Pet Detective with my dad, and he walked out with me in tow.

I'm kinda picky in what movies I see, so I'm usually sure I'll at least be able to tolerate it.

The fire alarm rang during Braveheart, so we all had to walk out. We only missed maybe 10-15 minutes though.

I've left while movies were playing but it's always been because of someone else I've been with getting sick or getting thrown up on 😛

I walked out on that Eddie Murphy movie "Life". Absolutely horrible.

Is it ever possible to get your money back? I just thought that was a running gag in sitcoms.

Only one... it was a bond movie, I was a kid, and I had broken out into hives and had to head to a doctor for a shot ASAP. Ironically, we were also late to that movie.

I've walked out of a movie once...but i got thrown up on before it started. i didn't want to stay and watch it.

I was very tempted to walk out on Borat, but I was with friends, so I stayed. Turns out, they were considering walking out as well.

I walked out of Battlefield Earth half way through.

I almost walked out of Unbreakable and The Hills Have Eyes 2 but I just toughened it out till the end.

yeah. i went to go see "kung pow enter the fist" or whatever it was called. it fricken sucked. i walked out and got my money back.

Same - that movie was part of the first date I had with my fiancee, but we both stuck it out. I heard it was funny ... sorry, but wanting to vomit most of the way through the movie was NOT amusing.

I did walk out of FEAR DOT COM though ... ugh that movie was horrible, not sure what I was thinking. Only took me 10 minutes and I was gone.

I've never heard it happening. I know they will refund it if there is a technical problem like the sound cuts out or something.

Looooong ago, my cousin and I walked out on "Stop, Or My Mom Will Shoot!"

I really, really wish I would've walked out on "Battlefield Earth," but my SO wouldn't, and I didn't want to leave him to suffer alone.

It's only $9. I dont find it to be a ridiculous concept, to realize 30 minutes into a movie that it is going to be horrible, leave and find something better to do.

I did just that when I went to see that movie "American Treasure", (something like that) with Nicholas Cage in it. I walked out after 45 minutes.
