you ever see it on weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

For a stupid movie it wasn't half bad, although that type of comedy generally isn't my things Walk Hard was at least watchable.

Only about half as good as Step Brothers. It was still pretty funny though...might watch it again someday. It's pretty dang long if I remember correctly...or maybe it just seemed like it was 2 1/2 hours.

I don't get you guys, I thought this movie was a decent amount smarter than I expected. It ragged on so many bands and their history/story that it was damn entertaining if you know anything about older music. It wasn't the same type of annoying pre-teen humor like Step Brothers and I thought that was refreshing. It wasn't great, but it was different and I liked it enough for that.

I think that is the problem. I bet the majority of people that hated this, missed out on over 50% of the references.

Or it could just be that reference humor really isn't as smart or witty as some would believe.

Step Brothers was at least watchable. Its saving grace was that broad pissing in the urinal. Walk Hard was fucking retarded.

These clowns are just cranking out as many movies as they can before they fizzle out. What you're seeing in this thread is evidence of said fizzle-outing.

I think it's more evidence that people don't like when directors/actors try new and different things. It wasn't the same type of humor at all so I wouldn't expect people that love Step Brothers to love this one. It was a subtle parody of lots of pieces of different bands that are over the head of most young'uns these days.

No...even you got it lots of it, it still sucked hard.

I typically like this type of movie. But Walk Hard was horrible. I threw the DVD away after I watched it once b/c I know I'll never ever watch it again. I get mad just thinking about how bad it actually was.
I liked Step Brothers though.....however it was no Achorman as far as 1 liners.

I typically like this type of movie as well. I guess I expected a lot more. Yes there were some funny parts but it was mostly crappy.
