Walden

Walden University seems like the perfect school to me, but I'm not sure if it's actually meaningful if trying to transfer to a real 4 year school, or getting a job. Do any of you guys have personal experience with Walden?

Is this one of those for-profit universities...?

A 4-year degree will be worth far more in the marketplace than a 2-year. Just keep that in mind.

It's kind of like phoenix only much better, and they have actual degree programs and require a year in a real school first.

If it is an online only university, why do they have a picture of students grouped together? Shouldn't they have a picture of someone in their underwear sitting in front of their computer?

UoP has degree programs and a higher level of accreditation than Walden

I know someone that makes around 6 figures with a degree in finance and he went to a B&M school in NYC that accepts people with a C average. If he can get a job like this with his degree then you shouldn't have a problem with a degree from any accredited school.

Word of warning though. Walden offers degrees in business but they don't have AACSB accreditation. UoP doesn't either, but they are a member and follow the course requirements.

I just checked and my friend's school isn't in aacsb.edu. If you go for a business degree then an AACSB school may help.
