Yup. It also means you'll be subject to surprise searches and strip searches too.

Yup, those are undercover employees wearing street clothes. Each of them is armed with a HKMP5, class 1 kevlar vest, and a Glock 22 side arm so I'd be a little more careful when shoplifting.

I really want/need to see your picture that you were being chased by walmart undercover.

I have had this happen to me as well

in Walmart, and big time in Target.

Its easily noticable, and i am tempted to ask.

You shouldn't be worried about their employees watching you, unless you have A REASON for having their employees watching you.

Actually
you should not be able to notice any undercover people if they are professional enough
I suggest WAL-MART's should attend training courses

Not just Wal-Mart. All big chains do this. Not sure if Home Depot does, but Sears, KMart, you name it. They have security on the floor.

The funny thing is that they are so bad at really being 'undercover' that it's easy to pick them out. Then, if you act suspicious, they'll follow you around everywhere. Stop every now and again, pick up an item, and turn around to ask them what they think of it :p

they usually follow me around when i'm in there...long hair, usually a leather biker jacket, and usually old school jnco jeans or kikwears or macgears...you know wide leg thieving pants...i just ignore them...i did get followed out of the store and asked to come back one time...i had picked up a movie i was going to buy, then came across something else i wanted instead and being the lazy arse that i am just set the movie down on a shelf...they thought i had slipped it into my pocket...long story short, i got an apology from the manager and a 50 dollar gift certificate for my hassles...they were cool about it though...didnt act like the walmart gestapo or anything ;)
