Was looking into the PS3 and was figuring the 120 was all I needed. I then saw that Gamestop had the father's day bundle with the 250 for $350 but I not sure I want Infamous. Then I see that Wal-mart has a 250 bundle where you get to pick the 2 games from a list for $350. This is very tempting, should I jump on this or is there a better deal elsewhere?
Also the only difference between the 120 and 250, is disk size, right?

Wal-mart bundle

PS3 250GB
2 Greatest Hits games

I probably pick up an extra controller too.

This is probably the best deal you'll find right now (depending on what games you're interested in). Best Buy has a Father's Day bundle that includes Uncharted 2 but obviously that's not necessarily as good as getting two games for free. Amazon's bundle has LittleBigPlanet GOTY and an HDMI cable.

Yes, disk size is the only difference between the 120 and 250 slims.

EDIT: Also, Target has a bundle with MLB 10 The Show and you can get 10% Bing cashback if you're into that.

Got the PS3 on Friday. one game didn't make it in until today. Interesting thing is that on the box it says "instant steaming ready NETFLIX", I'm assuming that mean it doesn't need the CD. IS that the case for all PS3s now? I must have missed the news on that patch.

Anyone know what SYNC does between the PS3 and the TV? I has hoping that turning the PS3 on would automatically switch inputs or something.

We don't get Netflix here but AFAIK, you still need the disc. Technically it still is instant streaming. A built in app will supposedly be offered later.

I don't have Netflix so i can't test it out. I'll check the Netflix card that came with it to see if it says anything about ordering the CD.

You still need a disc. It's instant, though. The application is loaded into memory; you can take the disc out after it loads if you really want to, although it would be pointless because you can't do anything else while your watching netflix anyways. It's not really a hassle for me. The netflix disc is pretty much the only thing that's ever in my PS3 until I get a new blu ray in the mail from netflix. My PS3 doesn't see much game time anymore. It's lucky that I like it so much for a media box, or I would have sold it by now.

Over the weekend I finally put a Blu-ray in the PS3. It turned the TV on and switched to the correct input since I have SYNC enabled. When playing games, it turns to the right input if the PS3 is turned on first but sometimes I get a black screen and audio from the other input. Also I was able to control the PS3 with the TV remote while watching the movie.
