I've been carded at Wally world for CONDOMS. I wasn't 18 at the time, and was QUITE FVCKING PISSED OFF. Walked across the street to CVS, grabbed a box of Trojans, and all I got was a dirty look from the old lady at the register.

hahahha something just went *click* upstairs

I used to live very near a Walmart, and whenever I shopped there, I used my credit card... I've never been asked for ID, except for one time, and I was buying a ton of stuff, so I figured that I must have gotten *something* that requires that you're over 18. I guess that the condoms must have been it...

And no, I would never ordinarily remember what I bought or when, but it's very rare that I'm carded, and even more rare that I buy condoms, so I remembered it :p

In California, I would not be suprised at anything Wal-Mart does. You know they dont card if you buy a box of .22 rounds? Because you dont need to be any specific age to buy ammo, just guns.

BUT.........
They do hide the Maxim's from kids. They say you have to be 18 to buy it.
Last time I checked, the American version of Maxim magazine didnt have any content restricting sales to minors.

After I transfer, I will make every effort to avoid the Peoples Republic of California for the rest of my life. And Wal-Mart too.

You must be the dumbsh!t that didn't read what I posted.
I said my wallet was in the car

what dumbsh1t leaves their wallet in the car when they go shopping?

Someone carrying cash in the pocket of their jeans and not expecting to get carded for freaking whiteout.

Is there a legal restriction on whiteout? No? Then hand it the fvck over.

I don't think I've ever been carded at Wal-Mart..I think I was carded for the last lottery ticket I bought (a few months back)..but not for my last alcohol purchase.. Go figure.

Last time Walmart did that to me I walked out and found a Target. I wasn't going to wait forever at the self checkout because they didn't have someone to stare at my id.

hence why i go there to buy all my games... places with computerized checkouts have something that tells them to check id's for M games, wal-mart's old people just ring it up and hand it over. never had to buy anything else that required an id. an id for white out though... damn... thats really dumb. if someone wants to try and get high off of it, let them, if they die from od its not my problem, just darwin at work for the betterment of tomorrow, infact, i think wal-mart might actually be doing us a favor for once.

Yeah, the machine tells them to card me when I buy spraypaint or canned air there. Also in Meijers when I buy Jones Soda it tells them to card me even though it's alcohol free SODA.

Oh well, I don't mind. Whatever makes it more of a pain for stupid little dipshits who like to get high off random crap... fine with me. Just don't come around huffing fumes from my gas tank... bitches.

very lame indeed... but I guess I can see why they would ask for ID.. although it's very likely not even worth their time to ask...

Why would I be a dumbsh!t just because my wallet is in the car ??

1) I was in Wal-mart to return something, then I realize I needed a bottle of white out.
2) I don't ever have money in my wallet. Ive lost my wallet too many times and I'd rather not lose both.

Did I mention I'm 32 yr old ??
My brother did made me realize WHY he tried to card me but I was pissed cause I didn't expect it and I didn't have my ID with me.

OK, I just told this to my brother and he told me something that made a little sense.
Kids can use it to sniff. Still the most absurd thing.
Seriously, its mostly kids that need white-outs anyway.
Wow. Is buying a pack of Sharpie (tm) -brand permanent markers, at, say, Staples, now an age-restricted act too? Stupid crazy stuff. Next thing you know, you'll need a license to own a pair of scissors.

Just checked today. Went into Walmart and bought a few things individually, on different checkouts. Carded for white out. Carded for spraypaint. Carded for condoms. Carded for tylenol. Not carded for 9mm rounds, THREADED STEEL PIPE, THREADED END CAPS, BLACK POWDER, A FUNNEL, FINISHING NAILS AND A SKI MASK, all together in one purchase. I wish I'd kept that reciept. Truly a "PRICELESS" moment. They're *SUPPOSED* to card you for the powder, too.

Some people think that if you are morally opposed to what a company is doing, instead of taking it up the ass you do what the OP did and walk out of the store and stop giving them business. It's one of the only ways to get anything done with corporations.

Why the hell would they card for condoms? Like if you can't get them you're not going to have sex?

The last thing we need is more pregnant 15 year-olds

I agree. Vote with your wallet, and don't support the Walmart machine.
