Our waitress downstairs, who we always talk to, is complaining that someone from the apprentice board was in and informing her that they were pushing to make waitressing a trade.
What is your thoughts, is this good or bad? And how would that effect the people in these jobs?
I figure it'll be like a one week or even evening thing, you pay $20 to write some kind of test and then get your ticket or whatever. My coffemates are thinking all these single mothers are going to go into huge debt trying to get their waitressing tickets. I can't see that, that would be dumb.
