Ehh, no. It's set up just like every other server - not w/ a dynamic disc. The .vmdk on the datastore is 45 gigs. That server was/is USING 45gigs. Windows just wasn't seeing it.When the drive was set up it was allocated Up To 45 GB of space. You can do this but the drive will only take up the actual space it needs. Or you can dedicate the space and it will actually take the entire 45 GB and hold it for itself.
Your drive is full.
Extending in this case wouldn't work, since it's a system drive. Hence the use of partition magic.[edit again: This guy fixed a similar issue by allocating a bit more space for the guest disk, restarting, and extending the volume.]
