Wait or buy?

Hi, Im considering buying an X800GTO2 video card. As I (and most of you) know, prices are going up for this card. So, should I wait for the price to go back down (if that happens), or buy a x850xt pe later in the year? or should I buy the card now?
Also, is there a limited supply that ati made of this card?

If I were you, I'd keep checking the sites that sell them for price fluctuations. You may get lucky and catch one for sale a lower price. But you have to be diligent about it, these prices seem to change multiple times daily at some sites.

Basically, I'd get one of these GTO2s and save some money.
 
They are very limited in supply. ATI is ditching all the old RS480 cores as GTO2's, so I wouldn't count on them sticking around.
 
I'd say get a GTO2 now if you can find one. They seem to be sold out at places like Directron and ZZF, who were selling them for ~$220. If you can find one for that price or a little more, like maybe $250, jump on it right away, then flash/unlock/overclock.

EDIT: It seems like they only place you can get the GTO2 is at Allstarshop. They carry the card in three flavors:

still available here for 219 for the lite retail. I ordered mine from atacom last wed., it should be here next thurs. according to ups tracking.

By the way, what is the difference between the Lite Retail version and the Full Retail version?
