I'm more surprised that google and yahoo are "only" 10M apart. I'd think google was off the charts far and away the most visited

Using google search and the yahoo PORTAL have completely different intentions and in that regards do not really compete with each other. People who set their homepage to a portal vs google search also have very different preferences of what and how their information is presented to them. IMO, different market segments.

the AOL people are still at a loss of what to do on the internet. They simply have nowhere to go, and spend most of their time confused and directionless.

Consider those that make Ask.com and Yahoo so popular, the more advanced of that bunch....
