I'm sitting here on the phone with Dell tech support... (close to half hour now with no one answering me) What's the longest you ever had to wait for customer service??

a little over an hour on the phone with HP one time.
They couldnt even help me, i ended up having to fix everything on my own.

Problems with a DELL? You could post your problem on general hardware and have 20 responces from people who accually know about computers by the time dell get 1/10th of the way to answering your call, and they still wouldn't be of any use!

Yeah, I'd post my problem, but I think a part inside is faulty, and gotta get Dell to ship us some parts... besides my boss wants me to go through tech support and waste my time anyway. Fine by me, makes me look like i'm doing somehting wiht a phone in my ear... 😉

Oh yeah, MCI Worldcom's Customer service is horrendous... I've never gotten through to them EVER. Uhghhhh

Sprint PCS.. Almost 2 hours.. I musta been one of there lucky customers winning a prize 🙁 geez.. I Wish ... 🙁 Horrible Customer Service but awesome Cell Phone IMO

charter communications. their cable service went down one time and i guess everyone and their grandma called to them about it 🙁

Darn computer reboots in the middle of typing stuff... I'm in MIS staff for this company. Well anyway, we received a computer that one of our users has (Dell Dimension V333C, yes, very very antique) and reportedly it's like rebooting and stuff. I just got off the phone with Dell, they want me to download diagnostics from their website, run it (they said about 4 hours to copmlete!!!) and then call back. Fun stuff huh? Ok, well, here goes everything...

3:25 and a few seconds for AT&T tech. I was helping someone setup their dial-up. We were trying to figure out why they were "maxed out" at 14.4 with a 56k modem (lines were capped ... ??)
