Was supposed to get a T40 thru work, but they screwed us out of it because of "budget"... so I'm stuck with my A21m for another year. :|

Someone else has it, and I definitely did not like the smaller viewable area compared with what I have.

Those are sold to incoming students at UNC...too bad I never got one...I wonder if my sister will (I think I told her to opt out and 'bring her own laptop' to save money)

If you post high-res pics, RossMAN et al will cream in their pants.

Okay, the Thinkpad T series is great, but does the T40 come any closer to the Apple TiBook in external aesthetics?

I paid for mine with highschool graduation money and savings I've saved for 4 years. If it hadn't been for the gifts, I'd be typing this on a dell. (damn this keyboard is fine :D)

I'm headed off to a friend's graduation, but I'll post pics later.

What a great day. My mom was given (for personal use) a 12" iBook with 800MHz G3, 256 MB ram, dvd/cd-rw combo, w/ OS X and 9.2 installed. She works for the school board, and they gave her one for use.

Two laptops in one day, one IBM (which is actually lighter then the iBook), and an iBook with OS X. I'm stoked. :D:D
